WORK PACKAGES
Work package n°1 Project Management
The monitoring of the progress of the project will established on the basis of the robust and clear project management structure including: a) rational workplan, b) objectives, c) indicators, d) monitoring and evaluation strategy with risk management procedures, e) tracking of resource utilisation, f) effective internal and external communication strategy including project website, g) meetings schedule. All these activities aim to ensure the effective delivery of the planned results within budget and within the scheduled timeframe.
Work package n°2 Training courses and teaching resources at the introductory level
WP2 has five specific objectives that contribute to the general objectives of the project:
1. Development (first year) and update (second year) of the course structure and training materials.
2. Organisation of training courses for teachers at the introductory level of complexity.
3. Organisation of an online follow-up session for each course for teachers interested in more instruction on selected topics (on request).
4. Development of new teaching resources for students or thorough review of existing ones, based on the new skills and knowledge obtained by teachers.
5. Verification of the students’ perception on the new resources.
These objectives follow the project logic, including acquiring new skills by teachers, transferring them into efficient teaching resources, and evaluating with feedback from students to verify the feasibility of the approach. The same intervention framework has been applied to WP3 and WP4, which differ in the gradually increasing level of complexity of the courses for teachers (intermediate and advanced, respectively) and the teaching resources to be produced for students.
WP2 is divided into two periods of implementation, each covering one year. The same applies to WP3 and WP4. During each year, a full cycle of activities will take place corresponding to the five objectives mentioned above. This approach facilitates the following:
1. Effective participation of the expected number of teachers, with a possibility to participate in trainings with increasing level of complexity at a flexible pathway, e.g. taking part in the introductory level course at the first year of the project and continuing with intermediate level during the second year.
2. Providing enough time for the development of teaching resources for students based on the consolidation of skills.
3. Possibility to modify the content of the courses based on feedback of the participants.
Work package n°3 Training courses and teaching resources at the intermediate level
WP3 mirrors the structure of WP2, but is focused at intermediate level of complexity, regarding the training courses and
development of teaching materials for students:
1. Development (first year) and update (second year) of the training materials.
2. Organisation of training courses for teachers.
3. Organisation of an online follow-up session for each course for teachers interested in more instruction on selected topics (on request).
4. Development of new teaching resources for students or a thorough review of existing ones, based on the new skills and knowledge obtained by teachers.
5. Verification of the student perception on the new resources.
These objectives follow the project logic, including acquiring new skills by teachers, transferring them into efficient teaching resources, and evaluating with student feedback to verify the feasibility of the approach. The same intervention framework has been applied to WP2 and WP4. WP3 is divided into two periods of implementation, each covering one year. The same applies to W2 and WP4. During each year, a full cycle of activities will take place corresponding to the five objectives mentioned above. This approach facilitates the following:

2. Providing enough time for the development of teaching resources for students based on the consolidation of skills.
3. Possibility to modify the content of the courses based on feedback from the participants.
4. Possibility to include student feedback on the feasibility of the new didactic content.
Work package n°4 Training courses and teaching resources at the advanced level
WP4 mirrors the structure of WP3, but is focused at advanced level of complexity, regarding the training courses and development of teaching materials for students.
